Frederick graduated summa cum laude from the prestigious Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) in 2024, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film & Television with a Minor in Dramatic Writing. Remarkably, he completed his degree in just three years, a testament to his dedication and hard work. During his time at SCAD, Frederick consistently earned Dean's List honors, reflecting his commitment to academic excellence. His motto, "My mission is to make the impermanent imagination a permanent reality," drives his creative endeavors.
Frederick's academic journey began at Georgia Cyber Academy, where he graduated summa cum laude in 2021. He was recognized as a Georgia Certificate of Merit winner, ranking in the top 5% of his class statewide. His exceptional academic performance earned him a place in the Advanced and Gifted Program at GCA, where he qualified in multiple areas, including mental ability, achievement, creativity, and motivation. Additionally, he was a member of the National Honor Society and The National Society of High School Scholars.
Frederick's early accomplishments include winning the Best Narrative Film Award at the 2019 Atlanta Technical College Film Festival and earning certifications as a Design and Media Production Specialist and Camera Assistant. He also holds an Adobe Certified Professional credential in Visual Design Using Adobe Photoshop. His volunteer work as the Audio Video Director at Peaceful Holiness Church in Columbus, GA, since 2017, underscores his commitment to community service.
Frederick's technical skills are complemented by his artistic talents. He has a deep understanding of digital film production, screenwriting, sound for film and television, production audio, lighting and camera techniques, and advanced postproduction. He is also a certified Steadicam Operator, adding a unique dimension to his cinematography skills.
Frederick is a multi-talented individual with expertise not only in filmmaking but also in art and design. He possesses an in-depth knowledge of drawing and design principles and is proficient in various disciplines such as drawing, design, color theory, 3D form in space, and storyboarding.
Throughout his entire academic career, from 2008-2024, Frederick maintained a perfect attendance record and consistently achieved Principal’s List Honor Roll status. His dedication to learning extended to studying robotics during summers at Georgia Tech, showcasing his diverse interests and capabilities. As a dual enrollment high school student, he earned 66 college credits with a 4.557 weighted GPA and a 3.914 unweighted GPA.
Frederick's work on "Innovator," a SCAD TV production, for his capstone project was a significant milestone, representing the culmination of his years of study and his readiness to enter the professional world. This project highlighted his ability to tell compelling stories and create high-quality content, reflecting his understanding of the intricacies of film and television production.
